We all suffer losses that will never be restored.  Ben, we weren’t ready to set you free or let you go.  Even though I question the whys, I know for sure that love never dies. I know for sure that we will see you again.  
You  will always be my child, and your love can never be replaced.  Ever. 
Today is 21 days since I touched your arms, your face, kissed your forehead as we stood with you, gently letting you go home.  Know that we all miss you desperately.  Goodness you have so many friends that love you, and miss you now.  Lissa misses you so so much.  💛
I choose to think that you were greeted by Papa, had some laughs, some hugs.  I imagine both of you breathing freely, and no oxygen tubing anywhere, and my heart rejoices thinking  of  you two.

My dear sweet, Ben (Kaza) I don’t know if I have the words for what I am experiencing right now knowing that you are no longer with us. You were such an amazing person and always made everyone feel special. We would get so excited when we talked about how we were doing or when we would hang out. When I performed you were the first to help me out, and as my “sister” and good Judy we always wanted to see each other succeed! You were a man of many talents and I love you so much. I will miss you deeply and will cherish all the amazing memories  and kikis we had. Continue being fierce sis! Until we meet again.. 🤍

I can’t believe your really gone I will forever miss your jokes at work your laugh you made work fun you always had a smile on your face and loved talking to people I wish things could be different but your in a better place now I miss you it’s so miserable at work without you almost impossible to get through i will never forget you you really impacted my life made it better as a friend I appreciate you and I know gods got you! 

In the 11 short years I knew Ben, he was a huge light in my life. What I would give to have him call one last time and hear him greet me with "Yo, is Yo there?" or randomly calling me "Rosa" just to make me laugh. If I had known how short those 11 years would be, I would have soaked in every single moment a little longer.  I am going to miss watching the passion radiate out of him when he danced and cheered. He loved so deeply no matter what and now I see how much more valuable that part of his sweet soul was.  His beautiful energy lives on for eternity.  I will miss him very deeply. 

My baby, my little boy, it is heartbreaking for a parent to bury a child. I am so sorry, so sad, and not sure I can say goodbye.  How does a parent say goodbye, anyway?  I hate that the world will no longer see your happiness, your kindness, and overflowing joy.  I hate that your nieces will miss your love.  I hate that you will not be able to teach Emily your crazy dance steps.  I hate that Lissa will be so very lonely without you, her other half.  I hate that grandma and tia Yolanda  will miss you desperately.  I hate that Sam will miss Glen.  I hate that losing you leaves me empty, lonely, broken, and lost.  I love you, no matter what.  I love that you remained true to yourself. I love your heart, smile and laugh.   I thank God for your life, for the impact you made. You were the best part of me.  I carry your heart.  Love,  Mom ♥️

Ben was a joy to be around,very happy and full of life.My mom loved to sit with Ben at parties, they were great friends, and enjoyed life.Ben was  very kind  had a beautiful heart, He took great care of his grand parents.Ben has such a loving family and will be so missed by so many. Everyone loves him and what a loss in our world. We were ten when we met. I didn’t know it then, but this funny little boy would grow to be one of my greatest childhood friends. We held hands in the back of your grandpas truck driving home from the ranch that Easter, and I was certain of one thing…  I was going to marry you someday. A few years later, when we were fourteen, you even got down on one knee and proposed to me at Trinity park in Ft Worth, TX with a 25 cent ring. I still have it in my memory box. I keep it with the photos from that day. Who could know that 18 years later how much more it would mean. Over the years life and distance grew between us, but we found our way back to one another in our late twenties. I’m so glad we did. I will treasure our last marfa lights together, and so will my kids. You are one in an million. There is no one else like you, and I know you’re in heaven now making a scene in all the best ways

Will miss our venting sessions, followed by a good cry, and whiskey, but always ending with endless laughter. I love you for time and all eternity Ben. You’re dancing on the big stage now.
