

Bill Burton Taylor, Sr.,63, of Barnhart, Tx., went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 8,2010 in Pandale, Texas. The family visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M., Thursday, November 11, 2010 at Johnson’s Funeral Home. The Graveside Service will be 11:00 A.M., Friday, November 12, 2010 at Rest haven Cemetery in Barnhart, TX. with Rev. Larry Young officiating. Bill was born January 7, 1947 in San Angelo, Texas to Haze and Virginia Taylor. He worked for many years in West Texas Oilfields. He married Crystal Miles on December 10, 2005 and although they were only married for five years they spent 31 years together loving each other and sharing their lives together. Bill was a loving husband, father and grandfather who devoted his life to his family. His great passion was hunting, fishing and trapping and just being in the great outdoors. He truly loved life and his family and friends and we will dearly miss him! Bill was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Hazel Hutmaker and his brother, James Freeman Taylor. He is survived by his loving family, wife, Crystal Taylor, of Barnhart, TX; his Daughter, Cathy T. Christopher and her husband John, of Odessa, TX; his Sons, Bill Taylor, Jr. and his wife, Wendy, of Mertzon, TX, and Cody Taylor and his wife Evangline, of Barnhart, TX; 7 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren; his Sisters, Bessie Chadwick and her husband Jim, of Carlsbad, Tx, and Linda Sparks and her husband J.R., of Mertzon, TX; and Numerous Nieces and Nephews and his favorite “Hunting Buddy”, Ray Turner. Arrangements are by Johnson’s Funeral Home.
