SAN ANGELO Billy Ray Ruth, 82, of San Angelo, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013, in Robert Lee, Texas. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2013, at Johnson's funeral Home. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013, in Fairmount Cemetery. Billy was born Jan. 18, 1931, in San Angelo, Texas, to Lindsey and Agnes Crumbley Ruth. Billy was a business manager in the airline industry for over 40 years. He loved hunting and being outdoors and was a great father with a zest for life. Billy was a member of the San Angelo Masonic Lodge #570. He will be missed by all who knew him and he will live on in our hearts forever. Billy was preceded in death by his parents; one ron, Ricky Ruth; and his stepbrother, Connie Davis. He is survived by his loving children, Ronnie Ruth, Linda Pope and her husband, Ken, Cindy Miles and her husband, Gordon, and Billy Ruth; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; his stepbrother, Frankie Davis; his half-brother, Danny Davis; and his lifelong friend, Fred Edwards.
