Bobby Dale Mayfield

Bob accepted the Lord as a young man. He enjoyed fishing and running trot lines, growing tomatoes and barbecuing. He enjoyed horse trading and a good story. Bob owned and operated Wellhead Safety Control in Sonora, Texas and bought and sold real estate.

Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Stella;daughters, twins, Debbie Leverett and husband, Shane and Kathy Allen and husband, Don all of Gardendale, Texas, Tina Dodds and husband Tony and Michelle Halsell and husband Grover all of San Angelo; grandchildren, Caleb, Hillary, Randi Beth, Jeremy, Taylor and Kylee; great grandchildren, Parker, Hayden, Blaine, London, Grant, Ella, Cash and Madaline June; siblings are Glenna Bean and husband Bill of Georgetown, Texas, Sandra Hughes and husband, Karl Don of Seminole, Texas, Richard Mayfield and wife, Emajon of Odessa, Texas

Special thanks to Hospice of San Angelo for sending angels to care for our dad, especially Mary. Also God gave us two granddaughters, Hillary Miller and Randi Skelton that gave unconditional care to their PaPa during those last days. I saw Jesus in those amazing young women during that time. What a blessing God is so good.

Graveside funeral service will be held at 2 PM, Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.
