Brenda Spruce

Brenda Joyce Spruce, 74 of San Angelo, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2017. She was born in San Angelo, Texas on July 10, 1943. Brenda graduated from San Angelo Central High School. She was married to David Spruce in 1975 and they spent 10 blissful years together until his passing in 1985. She had a career as a self employed seamstress for over 40 years. She enjoyed sewing, working in the garden, cooking, decorating and spending time with her beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren. Brenda is survived by her children, Connie Pearson of Houston, TX; Debbie Langston of Lake Worth, FL; Dewayne and wife Bunny Housewright of San Angelo, TX; Randy Spruce of San Angelo, TX; and Brandy Spruce of San Angelo, TX. She also leaves to cherish her memories, 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and a host of nephews and relatives. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, David Spruce; a daughter Lisa Pearson; her parents, Henry and Clara Phinney Bass; her sisters Kay Nichols and Linda Wilson. A memorial service for Brenda will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel.
