

Visitation, with family present, will be held Tuesday, April 12th from 6:00-8:00 pm at Johnson’s Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, April 13th at St. Paul Presbyterian Church with Rev. Craig Myers, Rev. Glenda Harbert and Dr. Timothy Devenport-Herbst officiating.
Chemsay was born February 7, 1959 in Savannakhet, Laos to Noumai and Malee Rattanasavanh. He had been a resident of San Angelo for 31 years and was a BC operator and needle maker at Ethicon. He was a member of St. Paul Presbyterian Church.
Chemsay was married to Amla Douangkesone in September, 1980 in San Angelo.
He was a patient father, loving husband, wise advisor, and faithful friend. He was a hard worker and the best cook. He loved sports especially football. He was a friendly person and loved to travel. We will always love him and he will be missed dearly.
Survivors include his wife Amla; daughters Soumaly Rattanasavanh and Aksonesey Rattanasavanh-Groat and husband James Ty all of San Angelo; brothers Thone and Tyler Rattanasavanh of Rockford, IL., Tongbay Rattanasavanh of Streamwood, IL. and Khounehuane Rattanasavanh of Holland, MI; sisters Douanchay Phonxay of Toronto, Canada and Phongsay Vorakoummane of Elgin, IL.
