She married Gail Reed Henderson on March 27, 1964.
Chris graduated from Lamesa High School and attended Texas Tech College in Lubbock Texas. She worked all of her adult life as a bookkeeper and secretary.
She loved playing bridge and kept active in her later years playing on a weekly basis. She enjoyed theatre, jazz and easy listening music, and her Southland Baptist Sunday School Class. “Wannie” as her grandchildren called her, kept up with her great-grandchildren by reading the sports section of the newspaper and reporting to them scores, wins, losses, and comments made in the paper by coaches and friends.
She is survived by her three children, Martha Chitsey (husband, Jerry), and Stephen Mickler of Wall, Texas, and Judy Luster (husband, Terry) of Edmond, Oklahoma; 8 grandchildren, Corby Chitsey (wife, Kathi) and Kelli Hanna (husband, Nick) of Wall, Texas; Adrienne Gerber (husband, Ryan) and Andrea Mickler of Canton, Ohio; Drew Mickler (wife, Rachel) of Columbus, Mississippi; Marcela Fagerland (husband, Seth) of Round Lake Beach, Illinois; Sam Mickler of San Angelo, Texas, and Katey Luster of Edmond, Oklahoma, and 10 great-grandchildren, Brady Clark, Bobbi Chitsey, Maddi Chitsey, Colton Chitsey, Halli Hanna, Grace Mickler, Clare Mickler, Gabriel Mickler, Benaiah Fagerland, and Bella Gerber.
She was preceded in death by her husband, G. R. Henderson and granddaughter, Stephanie Luster.
A special thanks to her Monday group of card playing friends, her Friday afternoon bridge group, her very special friend, Jo Ann Skinner, and her other life long friends. She spoke highly of each of you.
Paulbearers will be Terry Luster, Nick Hanna, Corby Chitsey, Sam Mickler, Brady Clark, and Colton Chitsey.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 16th from 5 to 7 p.m. at Johnson’s Funeral Home.
Services will be at Southland Baptist Church on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Wall Cemetery, Wall Texas.
