

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Big Lake on Thursday, August 22, 2013. Funeral Service will be 3:30 p.m. at the Reagan County High School Auditorium with Pastor Leslie Davidson of the Cowboy Church officiating. Burial will follow at Glen Rest Cemetery. Arrangements are by Johnson’s Funeral Home. Pallbearers for the service will be the Reagan County Football Team. Honorary Pallbearers will be DJ Pena, Dylan Hester and Austen Clark.
Clayton had a zest for life and he loved being around his family. He loved his mother, father and sister tremendously and he loved his girlfriend of 11 months, Catti. He never met a stranger and had a contagious smile. He played football and his favorite team was the Atlanta Falcons. He also loved golf and he excelled at it. He loved church and was a member of the Methodist Youth Group. Clayton will be remembered as a big sweetheart who was spontaneous, intelligent and fun-loving.
Clayton is preceded in death by his special angel, ‘Nana, Cindy Davis and his great-grandma ‘Mama Bud’. He is survived by his parents, Santiago De La Rosa, Jr. and Cassandra Flores and LaShauna De La Rosa and her friend ‘Red’, all of Big Lake; siblings: Santiago De La Rosa, III, of Odessa, Keegan and Daniela De La Rosa of Big Lake and Zane De La Rosa of Ft. Stockton ; step siblings Tony Flores and Breanna Flores, girlfriend Catti Stout, special Aunt ‘Bambam’ Velma Dane, grandpa Mitch Davis of Big Lake, great –grandpa Bud Fischer of Grape Creek, great-grandparents H.F. and June Ritchie of Big Lake, great-grandparents Jerry and Peggy Davis of Big Lake, grandpa Santiago De La Rosa, Sr. of Del Rio and grandma Lupina De La Rosa of Big Lake; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be, so He put His arms around you and said “Come to me.”
