I have the fondest of memories of Cyn from the time I began my career at GTE until I was transferred to Dallas.  Altho it had been a few years since I had seen and visited with her, some of my fondest memories include her and Lynn.  She was a lovely person who will be sorely missed.

I was deeply saddened to her of Cynthia's death.  I met Cynthia in 1965 at the Noelke Ranch in Rankin, Texas.  She and her sister, Kathryn, were at a party being held by friends that had moved from San Angelo.  When I graduated from Rankin High School in 1967 and moved to San Angelo, Cynthia and Kathryn were two of my closest friends.  Cynthia and I worked together at GTE and shared many fun times together.  I loved going to her parent's house.  It was always a fun place to be.  I will miss her dearly.  She was indeed a bright light!!

Many years ago I worked with Cynthia in ASC / GTE.  My thoughts and prayers to her family.

It was an honor to work with Cynthia at Verizon. She always had a smile and a hello for you. She knew no stranger and treated everyone the same. She will be greatly missed. My prayers to the family!

I worked with Cynthia at Gte/Verizon for 12 years.  She was a dear sweet soul and will be greatly missed as she added so much to this world.  My prayers and sympathy go out to hear mother and her family.  May God keep you close and give you strength during this difficult time.

I was saddened to see Cynthia's passing.  My deepest Sympathy goes out to Hazel and the boys and the entire family.  Though I had not seen her in years, I remember her fondly.

I was sad to read of Cynthia's passing.  I was a classmate of Cynthia's at Central High and we also started our work careers together at what was then General Telephone.  We and our "group" had many good times together, and I'm regretful that we didn't keep in touch better.  She was a lovely, special person and friend, and I loved seeing her photo with the big smile on her face.  I have many many great memories of her.  Pam Shurley, San Angelo

Cynthia/Bubba was a very special lady! She was the best of friends, as Linda said, a perfect daughter, and a wonderful mother/grandmother. Her sense of humor could not be beat, and I will miss her love and laughter always.

Dear Wes, Terrell, and Patrick,

I was so sorry to hear about your Mother.  Little did either of us know those long hours we both spent in the Shannon ER room that we would lose our beloved parents.  You guys will be in my thoughts and prayers.  I know you loved your Mother very much, and I always remember her care and concern for "her boys."

Someone wrote on here "Cyntha was a bright light in a dark world" - I couldn't have said it better myself. She was a loving friend with a GREAT sense of humor, she was a perfect daughter to her parents, and she raised three terrific sons. I will miss her greatly.

I worked with Cynthia at GTE/Verizon for over 11 years.  I never saw her that she didn't speak or smile at you.  She was a lovely lady.  We visited more often after I found out that I had worked with her Dad at Tucker Drilling Co years ago.  My prayers go out to her mother, her sons and their families.  She will be missed.
