

Dionicio graduated from Wall High School where he enjoyed participating in band. His favorite instruments were the trumpet and the tuba. He later studied pharmaceuticals at ASU. He joined the Navy in 1980 where he was a hospital corpsman. Dionicio worked in a plating shop which later he owned for years until he sold it. He worked in the oil fields for many years as a safety supervisor until he retired. After retirement, Dionicio would do odd jobs.
During his free time, he had a passion for billiards and fishing. Many knew Dionicio as Tee. His dedication to pool touched everyone who knew him. He was in many leagues and tournaments across town. Tee’s love for the game will always be remembered. Tee also enjoyed the quiet time fishing. During football season, Tee would not miss a Dallas Cowboy game. Win or lose, he was a die-hard Cowboys fan.
Dionicio was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary, his parents, Domingo & Oralia Tovar, son, Fernando Tovar, sister, Esmeralda Tovar, and aunt, Lucia Montgomery. Survivors include his daughter, Eleni Tovar Bradley, grandson, Andrew Johnathon Bradley, sister, Mary Ann Gonzales & husband Armando, nephew, Marcus Fuentes all from San Angelo, Texas, a niece, Christina Salazar & husband Pompeyo, and their daughter, Esmeralda Salazar all from Watauga, Texas.
We would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Shannon Medical Center in San Angelo, Texas and Medical City in Dallas, Texas for their compassionate care, comfort, and dedication during our loved one’s final days.
Rosary service is scheduled at 5:00pm Tuesday, August 25, 2026 at Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30am Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Committal will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
