Dominga Garcia Delich, 84, passed way Monday, December 12, 2011 at a local hospital surrounded by her family and friends. Prayer service will be held at 6:00p.m. Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at Johnson’s Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 10:00a.m. Thursday, December 15, 2011 at Johnson’s Funeral Home with burial to follow in Sterling City City Cemetery.
She was born February 27, 1927 in Gonzalez, Texas to Ventuda and Lucinda Garcia.
She married the love of her life Robert Delich on November 11, 1976 and had 6 wonderful children together.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Teresa Montez and her son Rene Montez Jr.
She is survived by her husband Robert, daughter Lucinda Smith and husband Robert, daughter Mary Galindo and husband Tito, son Jerry Montez and wife Pastora and son Rudy Montez and wife Tiffany, sisters Herminia Falcon and Gloria Garcia and brothers Vene Garcia and Pete Garcia
She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren as well as numerous great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Dominga was a Loving mother and grandmother her life revolved around her children.
