Donna Sue Mays

Donna Sue Mays, 50, of Houston passed away Monday, June 11, 2012. She was born February 19, 1962, in San Angelo, Texas. Donna was diagnosed with Lupus which caused blindness and many years of health issues up until her passing. She was preceded in death by her step-father Robert Knox of San Angelo in 2000. Donna is survived by her husband, Gary Mays of Houston; her daughter Samara Mays of Baltimore, Maryland; her mother, Becky Knox of San Angelo; her father, Billy Muter and wife Betty of San Antonio; five sisters, Kristi Behler of Brownwood, Kathy Thiers of Grape Creek, Michelle Muter of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Cindy Love of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Debbie Novick of Tolleson, Arizona; her brother, Bobby Knox of Brownwood. Along with these family members, treasured friend Beverly Guerra of Hamlin, loving nieces, nephews, and cousins will also miss Donna. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, June 15, at Johnson’s Funeral Home chapel in San Angelo with burial to follow in Eden Cemetery in Eden. Gary Smith of Robert Lee will officiate.
