Donnie Weise

Donnie Weise was born March 6, 1941 to Eula Faye and Bill Weise in San Angelo, Texas. He graduated from high school in Rochelle. After serving his country in the US Army, he married Karen Jean Smith in August 1964. They had three children, Donna, Stephen, and Regina, and made their life in Big Lake. Donnie owned and operated an oil field construction company there for three decades. Donnie loved hunting and fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Karen. He leaves behind his mother, Eula Faye and one brother, Bobby Weise both of Conroe, TX; three children, Donna Goldschlag of Encinitas, CA, Stephen Weise of Amarillo, TX and Regina Ward of Mertzon, TX; three grandsons, Kyle Ward and Jacob and Ross Goldschlag; and many long time friends.

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bethel Baptist Church in Big Lake with internment following at Glenrest Cemetery in Big Lake. Arrangements are by Johnson’s Funeral Home.
