

She was born on August 12, 1930 in Fort Stockton, Texas to Druey and Mary Anderson Ray. She married the love of her life, James Henry Wilson, on October 24, 1950 in Mertzon, Texas. They spent 39 years together until his passing on April 21, 1990.
Nadine was a special lady, not only to her family that loves and misses her, but also to all the children that she served school lunches to over her 30 year career as the Cafeteria Lady for SAISD. She will also be remembered as a very strong willed woman who loved her family dearly.
When she wasn’t serving school lunches, she spent her time doing the things that brought her joy. She loved to garden and just be outside, to fish, and to cook for her family.
Nadine is preceded by her husband, parents, one sister, and two brothers; a granddaughter, Jaime Wilson and son-in-law, Jerry Westbrook. Survivors include her son James William Wilson and his children James, Jr. and Carmela Wilson; daughter Brenda Walls (Robert) and their son Michael Wilson and their four grandchildren; and daughter Mary Westbrook and her children, Shawna Kay Westbrook, Gregory Westbrook, and Matthew Westbrook; and by lots of nieces and nephews.
