Doris Fulcher Wood, 81, passed away peacefully at her residence on Tuesday, December 21, 2010. She was born on January 22, 1929 to Lidie and Charlie Fulcher. Known as “Dot”, she will be remembered for her love of family and friends and for her sense of humor.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold W. Wood, Sr., retired Fire Marshall of San Angelo; her sisters Charlotte “Pete” Rogers and Esta Leonard.
She leaves behind her son Harold Wood, Jr. and wife Nike’; her daughter Rebecca Weatherford and husband Robert; her beloved sister-in-law Helen Galbreath; 4 grandchildren Scott Weatherford, Rachael Weatherford Jiménez, Trey Wood, and Christine Wood Kopecky and six great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at Fairmount Cemetery at 1116 West Avenue N on December 23, 2010 at 3:00 P.M.
