Duane Dean Connell

Duane Dean Connell, 53, was born January 13, 1960, passed away from this life on October 4, 2013 at a local hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was a loving son, father and grandfather.

He is survived by his parents Duane and Freda Connell; one son Trevor Connell and wife Crystal; two daughters Tawny Branaman and husband Bryan and Kendra Carson and husband Zino; two sisters Connie Beam-Browder and Kari Crowley and their families; four grandchildren Michael Rushing, Hunter Carson, Chase Potter and Emma Rose Connell; his uncle Bobby Connell and wife Rixie; aunt Gwen Moses and husband Coy and their families and numerous other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his wife Karen Campbell; one son Ryan Potter and his grandparents.

He was a member of Concho Masonic Lodge #1260, the Scottish Rites and the Suez Shrine Temple along with First United Methodist Church in San Angelo.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, Oct. 8th from 6:00-8:00 PM at Johnson’s Funeral Home. Graveside services will be on Wednesday Oct. 9th at Resthaven Cemetery in Brady, Texas.

Memorials may be made to the Cancer Society or Shriner's Hospital.
