Earl James Urbantke

He was born November 9, 1927 in Rowena, Texas to Carl Reinhold Urbantke and Freda Anna (Behrens) Urbantke.

Earl James Urbantke married Nila Faye Holden December 8, 1950 in the First United Methodist Church, Miles, Texas.

He worked at Ford Hood, Killeen, Texas, for Runnels County in Miles, Texas and West Texas Equipment in Lubbock.

He was a member of St Luke Methodist Church and CIHU Sunday School Class.

Survivors include his wife Nila Faye Urbantke, San Angelo, Texas son Gerald Lynn Urbantke and wife Leisa Ann (Branch) Urbantke, of Arlington, Texas, Daughter Earlene Faye (Urbantke) Moczary and husband Stephen Eric Moczary of Crestview, Florida. Grandchildren Sean Joseph Urbantke and wife Jessica Allyn (Johnstone) Urbantke of Silver Springs, Maryland, Ian Matthew Urbantke of Arlington, Texas, Justin Warren Green of Richmond, Kentucky, Selyna Evalyn Moczary of Crestview, Florida, Great-Grandchildren Kalvin Warren Green and Nakayla Rene Green of Bellview, Nebraska, Sister and Brother-in-law Laverne Freda (Urbantke) Sipes and Husband Edward R. Sipes of San Angelo, Texas. Brother-in-law and Sister-in-law A.V. Holden and Wanda Jean (Brown) Holden of Georgetown, Texas and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Freda Urbantke, Brothers Floyd Carl Urbantke, Leroy Elbert Urbantke and Father and Mother-in-law Eddie Holden and Zula Holden.

Funeral services will be held at Johnson’s Funeral Home 435 W. Beauregard, San Angelo, Texas Saturday, September 1, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. Bill Harris officiating. Burial will follow at Miles Cemetery, Miles, Texas.

Visitation will be Friday August 31, 2012 from 5:30 P.M.-7:30P.M. at Johnson’s Funeral Home, San Angelo, Texas.

Pallbearers will be Dennis Urbantke, Mack Baker, Weldon Holden, Dale Holden, Ian Urbantke, and Justin Green.
