Edith Florence Clement

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at 10:00 A.M at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens in San Angelo, TX with the Reverend Roger Blocker officiating.

"Edie" was born to Joseph H. and Louella Jordan Edwards on May 1, 1921 in South Bend, TX. She loved to play golf and played for over 32 years. She was adventurous and loved to travel to many different places. Eddy was a social butterfly and loved doing things for others. She was sweet, kind, gentle and easy to talk to. She was loved and will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.

Edie was preceded in death by her husbands, Jack Smith and Samuel Connor, a son, Jackie Smith, two brothers, Forrest Edwards and Donnie Edwards and sister, Marguerite Anthony.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Clement of New Braunfels, her daughter, Pamela Hays of Corpus Christi, three sisters; Betty Holloway, Joella Sealey and Gloria Ellis, a grandson, Keith Hays of Ingleside, two great-grandchildren, Randall and Amber and numerous other family members.
