

Ella C. Schneemann, of San Angelo passed away Thursday, January 6, 2011. The Funeral Service will be 11:00 A.M., Monday, January 10, 2011 at the First united Methodist Church with Rev. Bill Proctor officiating. Interment will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Ella was born March 30, 1956 in Fort Worth, Texas to David L. and Clare Marable Boren. She graduated from Southwest High School in Fort Worth and then The University of Texas with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing. She achieved certification as a registered nurse anesthetist from Harris Hospital in Fort Worth. Ella moved to San Angelo where she began her 27 year career with West Texas Medical Associates. As a CRNA she was recognized as providing exceptional quality care to her patients. At the age of 29, she started her passion for tennis. Her devotion to the sport allowed her to lead an adult team to the National Tournament .Through her passion for tennis she met her husband Phillip W. Schneemann and they were married in 1994. Ella also served as President of the Junior League in San Angelo. In 1996 following the birth of her twins, Anna and Lacy her focus changed to her family. Ella became a very loving and devoted mother dedicated to nurturing and educating her children. She was preceded in death by her mother, Clare Boren and one niece, Laura Schneemann. Ella is survived by her husband, Phillip W. Schneemann, of San Angelo; her daughters, Anna Clare and Lacy Lane Schneemann, of San Angelo; her father, David L. Boren, of Fort Worth, TX; her sister, Hallie Zietz and her husband Barry, of Bellaire, TX and their children, Jake and Maggie Zietz; her father and mother-in-law, Bill and Ann Schneemann, of Big Lake, TX; her brother and sister-in-law, Dan and Terrie Schneemann, of Big Lake, TX and their children, Will Schneemann and his wife Tanya, and Casey Schneemann and Julie Schneemann; her sister-in-law, Laurie Schneemann, of Austin; and numerous other family members and close friends. The pallbearers for the service will be Jake Zietz, Will Schneemann, Casey Schneemann, Scott Barber, Kevin Collins, and Keith Ward. Special Thanks to Dr. Duncan Fischer and Dr. Clyde Henke for their support and strength as well as many friends and family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
