Pepo we miss you everyday.  Little things through out the day just make us laugh  and automatically think of you.  I love to spend my mornings with you watching cartoons, eating breakfast and drinking coffee. You were always our partner in crime and you became your great grandkids partner in crime. You loved to dance and just get up and go all the time  with out any plans. You took us fishing every chance you had or took us to the boot shop when you wanted to show us the latest boots you were working on. Even though we are still hurting you seem to show us things that remind us of you and we laugh. We love you pepo. 

It's been a year since Gene left us I just want his family to know he is not forgotten.  Gene was a wonderful person and a great neighbor.  We miss his friendly smile and I miss walking along side him and talking to him on our sidewalk in front of our houses.

I met Eugene over 10 years ago when he was at Rusty Franklin's, a very kind and friendly person, and a great bootmaker.

My deepest heartfelt condolences Dolores. I have expressed to friends and family that my best job and best years were spent at Rusty Franklin Boot Co. and Gene was the #1 reason for that! He taught me alot, and far more than just bootmaking. He was a great friend and mentor to me. I actually just recently tracked down and bought a cookbook that featured a pair of boots I helped Gene make. It certainly is a memory I'll cherish forever.

Our deepest condolences to the Lopez family. My father Gustavo Aranda was a friend of Eugene and was also a bookmaker in San Angelo. May he Rest in Peace.
