

Faleasha attended Central High School and graduated in the class of 1986. She later went on to obtain a certificate in Vocational Nursing from Howard College, an Associate Degree of Applied Science in nursing from Angelo State University and a Bachelors degree in Nursing from Lamar university.
Faleasha is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, and their 3 children Amber, LaKendra & Damera Moutry; she also has 3 grandchildren Robyn, Devyn and Falyn. She loved and adored her family beyond imagination and always strived to be the best mother, grandmother and wife. She lived her life with happiness and purpose and gave that to everyone she encountered. Faleasha had a passion for teaching, mentoring, learning and inspiring others. She will always be remembered for her loving nature, positive attitude and words of encouragement.
Faleasha begin her career in nursing working for Shannon medical center in 1987 as a LVN. Her tenure at Shannon medical center continued for 32 years and held several positions during that time including registered/charge nurse in ICU, PRN positions in Cath lab, bronch lab and the relief house supervisor and most recently transitioned into the infection control role. Falesha also dedicated nearly 10 years of service to the vocational nursing program at Howard College as a nursing instructor and then as the LVN program chair. Faleasha’s nursing certifications include BLS, ACLS, TNCC and CCRN. She was a member of the National League of Nursing and the American Association of Critical Care Nurses.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 23,2021 at 10am at Johnsons Funeral Home and officiated by Reverend William J. McClendon. Please contact the family if you wish to send flowers, donations or condolences.
