

Frances Perry Keith Sanders was born march 27, 1931 to Benjamin and Virgie Perry in Miles, Texas and passed on to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, November 23, 2010. She was 79 years old. Funeral services will be Johnson’s Funeral Home on Friday, November 26, 2010 at 2:00P.M. with Pastor Billy D. Simmons officiating. The interment will be at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will include: Jason Steele, Jana Steele, Taylor Keith, Jason Kennedy, Terry Smith, Kelly Perry, and Gary Landgraf. Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson’s Funeral Home.
Frances attended Klattenhoff School in Miles, TX. At the age of 17, she married and lived 44 wonderful years to Vernon A. Keith from San Angelo. Vernon preceded her to glory on June 20, 1992. Frances and Vernon had 2 children, a daughter, Brenda Steele who married Vic Steele from San Angelo, TX., and a son, Bruce Keith, wife Brenda Keith from Austin, TX. Frances and Vernon shared the joy of 3 grandchildren; Jason Steele from Austin, TX., Jana Steele from Austin, TX., and Taylor Keith from College Station, TX. Frances had 11 brothers and sisters. Those surviving her are: LaVerne Smith, Edna Landgraf, and Kenneth Perry, all living in San Angelo, Robert Perry from Hacienda Heights, California, and Mary Stegall from Midland, TX.
In 1997, Frances married and lived 12 precious years with Elton Sanders from Hobbs, New Mexico and shared the lives of his children and grandchildren. Surviving are Elton’s son, Hilary and wife Elaine Sanders from San Antonio and his daughter Johnann and husband Jerry Allen from College Station and six grandchildren. Elton preceded Frances to glory on January 8, 2009.
Frances loved her Lord above all things and was a loving and nurturing homemaker. She devoted her life to her family and to church. She made the best Turkey and Dressing in Texas and was the happiest when serving others. Frances was a member of Glen Meadows Baptist Church. She was known as a prayer warrior and led many people to the Lord. She was always on a mission to tell people about her Savior. Frances worked as a Cosmetologist at Dunlap’s in Midland, TX for 7 years and for the San Angelo Independent School District for 5 years. She loved to play hymns on the piano, write poetry, and encouraging letters to family and friends. Frances was a Hair Model in Midland, Texas and was recognized in the National Enquirer magazine for having the most mirrors in her home. Frances lit up a room with her smile and her natural charm. Every time she was asked how she was, regardless of her situation, her reply was always “I’m Perking Right Along.” She will be greatly missed.
