George D. Williams, Jr., of San Angelo, TX went to be with the Lord on the 7th of August 2020. He was born on January 19, 1947 in Coleman, TX to George D. Williams, Sr. and Thelma Eldores Knox. George (Keno) Williams, Jr. attended Carver middle school in San Angelo, TX. He was later enlisted in the Navy/Marine in 1966 where he served overseas in Vietnam. George served as a Combat Medic where he would receive several accommodation medals along with a Purple Heart. After being medically retired from the Military, George started working for Dubb’s Tree Service in San Angelo, then worked a short time for Baptist Memorial. George (Keno) Williams, Jr. met his beloved wife Juliet Reynolds in 1978. They were married in 1983 and together had 5 children. George (Keno) Williams, Jr. was a proud member of the Disabled American Veteran Association (DAV). He had a passion for helping people. He was known for helping those in need. He loved his family and had several close childhood friends that he considered his brothers. For his pass-time he loved fishing, watching Sci-Fi, wrestling and listening to old school music. He would sometimes try his hand at singing Karaoke! He will always be remembered for his bright smile and his contagious laughter. He is preceded in death by his father George D. Williams, Sr.; mother Thelma Knox; sister Caroline Stenix; brothers, Michael and James Williams and son’s Jason A. Reynolds and Justin A. Pearson. He is survived by his wife Juliet Williams of San Angelo, TX, Eddie Williams (Delia) of Killeen, TX, Mari A. Rogers (Aaron) of Savanah, GA, Tiffany D. Williams of Dallas, TX, Talaya R. Moss (Rafer) of San Angelo, TX, Bryan Reynolds (Quiana) of Dallas, TX, George D. Reynolds (Stephanie) of San Angelo, TX, Kenya S. Reynolds (Eric) of Houston, TX, Cedric Frances (Tina) of San Angelo, TX, special daughter Tya Washington of Dallas, TX, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends. Funeral services will be held at Johnson’s Funeral Home in San Angelo, TX located at 435 West Beauregard Ave, San Angelo, TX 76903. The family ask that any flowers or plants be sent to the funeral home. The family would like to thank Kindred Hospice of San Angelo, TX for their service. The family requests that only family and close friends attend the chapel service. The graveside service will be open to everyone. Please practice social distancing and wear face masks.
