Guadalupe Aguirre, 96, of San Angelo, passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2022. She was born on April 23, 1926 in Sanderson, TX to Calistro Garcia and Anita Ribera. Guadalupe married Jessie Aguirre on October 1, 1945 and had 5 children. She had a passion for gardening and her Lord Jesus Christ, she will always be remembered for her compassion, generosity and overall love for her family. Guadalupe was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, her husband Jessie Aguirre, Sr., her son Albert Aguirre and her daughter Helen Aguirre Ynojosa. Those left to cherish her memory are her children Adela Martinez, Jessie Aguirre, Jr. and Gloria Aguirre Deanda; 11 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, June 30, 2022 in the chapel of Johnson’s Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 1, 2022 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with interment to follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Fernando Deanda, Jr., Louis Albert Deanda, Christopher Deanda, Robert Moncibais, Zachary Deanda and Robert Garcia. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make a memorial donation to Hospice of San Angelo. The family would also like to thank the caring staff of Hospice of San Angelo, Father Joey and the staff of St. Mary’s, Nora & Edward Hernandez, Father Fabian and the brothers of Mount Caramel Hermitage and the sisters of Our Lady of Grace Carmelite Monastery.
