Helen Eisenbach, 89 of San Angelo, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 21,2021. She was born on April 26, 1931 in Gilmer, Tx. To William Hervy and Gladys McPeek. Helen attended Lakeview High School and after graduation, worked with her husband Cecil at Eisenbach Motors. She worked as a Kindergarten assistant at Harris Avenue Baptist Church for many years. After raising her three children, Helen went on to obtain her LVN degree at Howard College. She began her career in nursing, working for Community Hospital. She loved working in the newborn nursery. Helen married Cecil Eisenbach on October 25, 1950, and had 3 children Larry, Sharon and Lawrence, whom she loved dearly. Helen was a proud member of Harris Avenue Baptist Church and had a passion for children, hospitality and WMU. She will always be remembered for her compassion. She loved her Lord and was a great example to her children and grandchildren in faith and devotion. She was an accomplished artist, as can be seen by the beautiful paintings hanging in the family homes. She loved to sew, do multiple kinds of hand crafts, LOVED to cook and boy could she do that! She loved to fish and travel (many miles in the Merry Miler!) Helen is preceded in death by her parents, Hervy and Gladys McPeek, a sister Ina Mae Perdue and a brother Douglas McPeek. She is survived by three children Larry Eisenbach and wife Laura, Sharon Honea and husband Mike, and Lawrence. She was blessed with 6 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. A brother Hervy (Buddy) McPeek of Highland Haven, Gayle Marcek Miller of San Angelo, and Jewell Sanders of Lorena and Winnie McPeek of Robert Lee as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held Jan.25, 2021 at 1:30pm at Johnson’s Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations to Harris Avenue Baptist Church or Hospice of San Angelo.
