Irene Camfield

Irene Camfield, 77 passed away Wednesday, December 1, 2010 after a lengthy illness. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 4th at Johnson’s Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor David L. Smith with burial to follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson’s Funeral Home.

She was born December 25, 1932 in Liverpool, England. She moved to San Angelo, TX., in 1969 with her husband, Charles (Bud) Camfield and her three boys.

Irene Leaves behind three sons, Gary Camfield and his wife Carolyn of Broken Arrow, OK., Doug Camfield and his wife Debbie of San Angelo, TX., David Camfield and his wife Diane of San Angelo, TX. Three granddaughters, Heather Pruitt, Rebecca and Kelli Camfield, one grandson; Kyle Camfield; two great grandsons; Luke and Drake Pruitt; a sister Barbara Greenwood and husband George of Middlesex, England. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles (Bud) Camfield and brother Billy Butler.

Irene loved visiting and spending time with some of her very close friends here and out of town.

The family would like to thank Liz, Amy and the staff at St. Angelius for their loving care, and also the staff at Hospice of San Angelo.
