Isabel S. Alvarado

Isabel was born on October 7, 1934 to Esteban and Andrea Alvarado in San Carlos, Coahuila, Mexico. He married the love of his life in September of 1957 in Ciudad Acuña, Coahuila, Mexico. They shared 54 wonderful years together, and he loved our Mother through thick and thin.

Isabel showed his family so much love. He was the best Father anyone could ask for. His daughter Leticia will always cherish the morning walks they would take together when he visited her. He always had a huge smile on his face that lit up a room. He was always ready to lend a helping hand, and he loved taking his grandchildren to school. Joe will always remember the moments he shared with our Dad working side by side. He loved hunting with his boys, and liked to fish. His teasing and great sense of humor will be missed, as well as the stories he told about his youth and many travels.

Isabel is survived by his wife Concepcion G. Alvarado; sons: Jose Robles (Theresa), Javier Robles, Ben Alvarado (Cynthia), and Gabriel Alvarado (Cindy); daughters: Gloria Reece (Larry), Maria Isabel Perez (Sammy), Patricia Alvarado (Cristella), Lupe Zuniga (Tony), and Leticia Spriggs (Jay); sisters: Petra Urrutia, Maria Antonia Garcia, Inocencia Garcia, and Seferino Alvarado; and 27 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers for the service will be Joey Robles Jr., Jimmy Mendoza Jr., Alex Olvera, Miguel Perez, Aldo Martinez, and Narciso Garcia. Honorary Pallbearers will be Robert Robles, Elijah Spriggs, Donovan Spriggs, and Joey Vargas.
