James Duhamel was born on November 16, 1970 in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. He was forty-three years old.
Anyone who knew James knew he was a spitfire and could never sit still. He was always working in his yard even at 3 am in the morning. The man never slept and he was addicted to work. He worked at Tom Thorpe transportation. Anytime you saw James, most likely he was wearing his camo; it was like a uniform for him. James will be greatly missed, and he would always put a smile on everyone's face, with his crazy sense of humor.
James is survived by his loving wife Rosie Duhamel, he was her everything in life. His stepsons; Jim and wife Andrea, Julian and wife Lisa. Also step- grandchildren; Brooke, Alyssa, Isis, Jace, and Kade. His parents; Gerald and Elaine Duhamel of Florida. His children; James Jr., Andrew, and Kayla, and grandson; James III, all of Florida. As well as a sister; Jane of Rhode Island, and his brothers; Ronnie and Mark of Florida.
The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. McClish and the ICU Unit of Shannon Hospital for everything they did.
A memorial service for James will be held at 6pm, on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 in Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel.
