My kids & I delivered meals to Mr. Montgomery on Fridays since the beginning of the summer. We missed seeing him the past month or so. We were sad when he was no longer on our route. The kids LOVED his shiny blue car in the garage. We will miss him. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family during this time.

Walter was someone I always looked up to during his time with the Standard-Times. I held high respect for Walter, and his memory will always be that of a man of great character. May his memory bring his family comfort knowing how blessed we all were to have had him in our lives. May God be with you in your time of sorrow...
