Jamie J. Salinas, 47, of San Angelo, passed away on September 1st, 2020. He was born on August 3rd, 1973, in Andrews County to Eulalia Rhoades. Jamie graduated from Andrews High School in 1992 and went on to attend Cisco Junior College. Jamie worked for BJ Services as a field supervisor for nine years. Jamie married Yolanda Rodriquez on November 21, 2008 and together they share seven children.
Jamie lived life to the fullest. He was always able to make people laugh, and was super spontaneous. Jamie will always be remembered for his love for his family, the Miami Dolphins, and sports in general. He thoroughly enjoyed fishing and doing things with his family.
Jamie is preceded in death by his mother, Eulalia Rhoades; father, Earl Rhoades, and a son, Zane. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Yolanda Salinas; his six children, Kinsella Lopez and husband Josh, Karibe Madrilez and husband Jermelle, Marcus Salinas, Elijah Salinas, Xavier Salinas and Xzander Salinas; four grandchildren, Christian Lopez, Eulalia Madrilez, Brooklyn Lopez and Everlee Madrilez; four brothers, Joselito Salinas, Daniel Rhoades, Gene Rhoades and Paul Rhoades, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members. Visitation will be held Thursday, September 3, 2020 from 6 PM-9 PM in Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel. Jamie's funeral service will be at 2 PM, Friday, September 4, 2020, in Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Landon Henry from San Angelo First officiating. Burial will follow at Belvedere Cemetery.
