

Janie L. McWilliams, 77, of San Angelo went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 19, 2012 in San Angelo. The Graveside service will be 3:00 P.M., Friday, August 24, 2012 at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens with Rev. Ruben Metcalf officiating. Arrangements are by Johnson’s Funeral Home. Janie was born May 5, 1935 in San Saba, Texas to Charlie and Lula Funderburg Crim. Janie grew up and lived all her life in San Angelo. She married A.C. McWilliams and they shared 26 wonderful years together before he preceded her in death in 1992. Janie was a loving and devoted sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved the outdoors, she loved camping, hunting, fishing and gardening. She especially loved playing “skip bo” and Nintendo games and had a tremendous spirit for laughter and fun. Janie will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, A.C., two sisters, Dorothy Gage and Judy Lawler, her brother, SSG Charles Crim and her grandson, PFC Jason Poindexter. Janie is survived by her loving children, Tammy Dunlap and her husband, Ricky of Lordsburg, N.M., Sharon Stevens and her husband Randy, of San Angelo, James McWilliams and his wife Darla, of San Angelo, Denise Schkade, and her husband Greg, of San Angelo and Charles McWilliams and his wife Diane, of San Angelo; 17 Grandchildren; 8 Great Grandchildren; her Sister, Lucille Bennett and her husband Jim, of Bronte, TX; her Brother, Steve Crim, of Big Spring, TX; her special friend and “gamblin’ buddie” Janett Schkade, of San Angelo, TX; numerous nieces and nephews and other family members and close friends. The pall bearers for the service will be Lynn Terrell, Travis Westbrook, Delvin Shomaker, Mason Shomaker, Clint Porter and Bobby Holleman.
