Jean O’Neal Cook Hooper (1939-2013) Jean O’Neal Cook Hooper, 74, of San Angelo, Texas passed away Sunday, June 30, 2013 following a brief illness. The funeral service was held at 11 am on Tuesday, July 2nd at the 9th & Main St. church of Christ. Josh Romo officiated. Burial followed the funeral at Fairmount Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were handled by Johnson’s Funeral Home. Jean was born to Guy and Gladys Cook in Ethel, MS on April 13th, 1939. She was married to George J. Hooper on March 30th, 1959; they were married for 54 years. Jean was actively involved in the work of the Lord’s church at the 9th & Main church of Christ for many years. Jean is survived by her husband, George J. Hooper, three children and their spouses, Carey & Stacey Hooper, Marisa & Curtis Perkins, and George B. and Janise Hooper, seven grandchildren, Alyssa, Connor, Brennan, Luke, Collin, Juliana, Bergendy and her dear sister, Joan Cook Wallis.

A wonderful Wife and Mom has stepped ahead of us into a place where faith and hope are reality, where pain is an obsolete idea soon forgotten, and where the love she shared with all of us now warms and comforts her in the company of the Lord.
