Jeanette Holderness Daniels, 76, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013, in a local nursing home. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28, at Johnson's Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, March 1, at Johnson's Funeral Home with burial to follow in Fairmount Cemetery. Jeanette was born June 24, 1936, in Memphis, Tenn., to Gordon and Lila Mae (Cowan) Holderness. She married the love of her life, Julius Daniels, Oct. 18, 1963. They were married for 50 beautiful years. Jeanette is survived by her husband, Julius Daniels; sons James Roger Daniels and wife Melanie, David Daniel Daniels and wife Regina; granddaughter Michelle Bishop and husband George; grandsons Corey Daniels and wife Jen, Joel Daniels and wife Liz; granddaughter Emily; and nine great-grandchildren.
