

He was born on March 25, 1944 in San Angelo, TX to Edgar and Marguerite Mullenix.
Jerry attended Central High School and graduated in the class of 1962. He later went on to obtain certification from San Angelo Business College. Jerry then began his career in accounting, working for Angelo Refrigeration and Restaurant Supply as a sales representative.
Jerry married Diana Lynn Hagan on August 15, 1969 and they had two children.
Jerry had a passion for restoring vintage cars and trucks. He enjoyed participating in car shows and hanging out with his hot rod buddies.
Jerry will always be remembered for his faith in God, his quiet, loving spirit and his devotion to his family.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jasper and Lillie Mullenix, maternal grandparents, William and Lena Tarrant, an infant brother that passed at birth, his mother and father, Marguerite Mullenix and Edgar Mullenix, three aunts, Jewell Dean Pool, Hester Pauline Meek and Lorene Meek, his big brother, Norman Mullenix and his sister in-law, Francis “Skeeter” Taylor.
Jerry is survived by the love of his life, Diana Mullenix, two daughters, Tara Hart and her husband Billy Hart, and Danielle Bradshaw and her husband Cobey Bradshaw, two granddaughters, Corrina Lynn and Audrey Lynn, three grandsons, Garon Hart, Gunner Bradshaw and Trenton Bradshaw. Four nieces, Stacy McGuire, Amy Kobler, Pamela Baldridge and Michelle Lawrence, five great nieces and three great nephews along with a host of “hot rod buddies.”
A memorial service will be held on February 17, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Johnson’s Funeral Home Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, the Mullenix family asks that you make a memorial donation in Jerry’s name to Cassie’s Place, Concho Valley Paws or the Humane Society of San Angelo because of his big heart and great love of animals and his own special pup, Ravioli. The family would also like to thank the doctors and nurses at Shannon Hospital, Chaplain J.T. Tucker, Hospice of San Angelo and Palliative Care for helping Jerry’s journey home be as comfortable as possible along with all of the words of comfort and support from friends and family.
