Jesse Charles Dotson of Brady passed away on Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013, in a local nursing home. He was 80 years young. Jesse will be buried in Andrews Old Cemetery in Andrews, Texas, at a later date. He will be buried there with his family - grandmother, parents and brother. There will be no service. Johnson's Funeral Home of San Angelo is handling the arrangements. He was born on June 5, 1933, in La Pryor, Texas, to Jessie and Hope Bowers Dotson. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, obtaining the rank of tech sergeant and then transferred to the Army Reserves. Jesse married Carol Olson on Oct. 15, 1998, in San Angelo. Jesse was preceded in death by his grandmother; parents; his brother, Billy Dotson; and his oldest daughter, Brenda Dotson. He is survived by his wife, Carol; daughters Sandra Blaydes and Leslie Ellsworth; sister Betty Dotson Cole; five granddaughters; one grandson; and nieces and nephews.
