Jimmy lived his life as a no nonsense, humble, hardworking man. He was a husband, father, and grandfather. His passion was over the road trucking. He worked as a truck driver his whole life until 4 years ago when his first of 4 strokes took his ability to drive away. Jimmy remained hopeful until the day he passed that he would drive again. Jimmy loved to western dance and had a wonderful singing voice. He loved to eat! Franco’s of San Angelo was his favorite. Jimmy lived a long life full of adventure, stories, and writing his own rules. Five years ago, he married his childhood sweetheart, Deborah. They remained by each other’s side in sickness and in health.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents Claude and Mary Brannan; sisters: Georgia & Janice; brothers: Claude & Gene.
He leaves behind his wife Deborah, daughter Micki and son-in-law Matt, son Jimmy, granddaughter Marah, stepson Billy & Shellye Weston and their children & grandchild, stepdaughters Melinda Thomas & family, Elizabeth Worbington & family, his brother Freddy and sister Shirley. Also preceding him are too many extended family members to list.
Special thank you to Billy Weston for assisting Jimmy in the final years of his life.
We all know Jimmy is at peace and in Heaven now. He is singing and dancing with the Angels. We sure hope they have Mexican food in Heaven.
We will have a Celebration of Life in September when family can come together.
