Jimmy Edward Simpson Sr. passed away April 28, 2013 at a local nursing home. Jimmy was born in Marathon, TX to Henry and Bessie Simpson. On December 31, 1947 Jimmy married the love of his life Peggy in Las Cruces NM they were married 52 years until she passed away in 1999. Jimmy worked as a Master Plumber in both Alpine to El Paso Texas retiring to live in San Angelo. Mr. Simpson is survived by his three daughters Susan Hall and husband David, Janet Thibeault and husband Chuck, and Peggy Simpson; one son Jimmy (Butch) Simpson Jr. and wife Debbie; two sisters Betty Scudder, and Bonnie Quick; one sister-in-law Diane Turner; four grandchildren; along with a special friend of 13 years Ellen Sodergren. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday at 11:00 A.M. May 3, 2013 at St. Marks Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Baptist Memorial’s House of Hope P.O.
