Dearest John...we had a few short years together as husband & wife but you were always kind & generous! We had just recently talked to each other after many, many years & the conversation was heartwarming! Now I find that you passed only a few days after our conversation. I know you have found your favorite fishing spot in Heaven! So deeply saddened!

John Srader was the reason I got the job at Mayfield - he literally walked my application back to the manager and wouldn't let me leave.  He was one of a kind - and will be missed.

Scott and I were very saddened to learn of John's passing. What a wonderful friend he was to those who had the pleasure of knowing him. We have so many wonderful memories of him.  I'm sure John and Freeman are fishing in heaven! Our deepest sympathy to his family.

I loved working with John and hearing about his fishing stories with Deitrick. You are going to be missed John. By the way we will be using your canoe in Illinois next week.
