Good man, served his country, enjoyed good life. Probably broke the mold. A joy to be around.

Johnnie & Dena are dear friends of my grandparents and every since I was a little girl Johnnie was so special to me. He could scoop you up & and hug you like no other. There are so many sweet memories of this dear man! He absolutely loved to talk and I loved listening to his stories! He bonded with my husband over their military service! He always had a smile and huge hug for anyone in his path. It’s hard to express how much he meant to my late grandfather Lee Roy! They were the best of friends & When my grandfather fell ill Johnnie would visit him and make him feel much better. True friends for life! Now they are reunited in Heaven and undoubtedly making trouble. He is a gem of a man & we were lucky to have known him! Dena and family I’m very sorry for your loss of such a wonderful man. My warmest condolences to you all!
