Jovita Terrazas Arteaga of San Angelo, TX passed away on January 16, 2023. She was born on October 23, 1931 in Doole, TX to Atilano and Carmen Terrazas. Jovita worked for Ethicon, Inc. as a Surgical Manufacturing Production Employee. She married the love of her life Nicolas Arteaga on November 19, 1955 at the Schertz Ranch and had 1 daughter together. Jovita will always be remembered for her kind heart toward a stranger. She was preceded in death by her husband Nicolas Arteaga. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter Griselda Ana Arteaga and her siblings Mary Louis Garza of San Antonio, TX and Victor Terrazas of Eola, TX. Viewing will begin Thursday, January 19, 2023 at 8:00 a.m. at Johnson’s Funeral Home. A celebration of Jovita’s life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 20, 2023 in the chapel of Johnson’s Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Johnson’s Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Marion Garza, Jack Pape, Fernando Garcia, Joe Harding, Larry Harding and Armando Trujilo. The family would like to thank Gentiva Hospice, Dr. Erica Borrego.
