Joy Mae Mann

She was born on December 22, 1940 in Haywood County, Tennessee to Jack and Goldie Fincher.

Joy was homeschooled and graduated in the class of 1959. She later went on to attend West Tennessee Business College then began her career working for Union Planters National Bank as a secretary.

Joy married Franklin Cordell Mann on August 15, 1964 and became an Airforce wife. Joy was a proud member of Belmore Baptist Church and had a passion for singing in the choir, and will always be remembered for painting pictures.

Joy was preceded in death by her parents; Jack and Goldie Fincher, brothers; Everett Fincher, Ralph Fincher and Edmond Fincher, and her husband, Franklin Cordell Mann.

Those left to cherish her memory are her nieces and nephews; Marie Morris (Lance), Robin Riales (Randy), Brenda George, Richard Fincher, Debbie Candy, Robert Fincher, Karen Stewart and Kay Copsey, and her best friends; Gilbert and Lucy Gonzales.

A visitation for Joy will be held Friday, June 17, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Johnson's Funeral Home, 435 W Beauregard Ave, San Angelo, Texas 76903. A celebration of life service will occur Saturday, June 18, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Johnson's Funeral Home. Joy will be laid to rest in Johnson's Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens, 4989 FM 1223, San Angelo, Texas 76905-2912.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a memorial donation to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
