Kevin McCoulskey

SAN ANGELO Kevin Winston McCoulskey went to be with the Lord after passing away peacefully in his sleep at the age of 53. Kevin was a caring man and an active member of First Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed delivering meals for the elderly every week. In his spare time, Kevin enjoyed working on and building computers. He was always everyone's go to man for anything electronic. He also enjoyed spending time with family and meeting for coffee club on Sunday afternoon. Kevin achieved his lifelong goal of becoming a peace officer when he graduated from the Concho Valley Regional Law Enforcement Academy in December 1997. He continued to do this until health reasons prevented him from doing so. Kevin was extremely loving and very proud of his kids and grandkids: son Scott, wife Dona and kids Alexis, Alan and Avery; daughter Crissie Pierce, husband Bill and kids JaCoty and Jaylon; son Nathan, spouse Britnee and daughter Madelyn; Kevin was anxiously awaiting the arrival of grandson Brantley Winston due in November. Kevin is survived by his mother, Roena; sister Dianne Braddock and husband Dewey; brother Keith; and sister Traci Salvato and husband Charlie. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, Heather Hayes, husband Greg and kids Grayson and Henlee, Jennifer Braddock, Ashlee Sayles, husband Trey and kids Burke and Addison, Amy Odell, husband Josh and kids Khloe and Klaridi, Christopher Salvato, wife Alyssa, Jeremy Salvato, Skylar Salvato, Tristian McCoulskey and Caitlan McCoulskey. Kevin was preceded in death by father Norman (Spot); daughter Kimberly; sister Kathi Reeves; brother-in-law Gary; and nephew Jonathan Braddock. Visitation will be all day, Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2013, at the funeral home with the family present from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. A celebration of his life will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013, in Shaffer Funeral Home's Pioneer Chapel.
