Memories
Like the wind that bends a tree and then reappears.
Like the joy of an old love whose words are near.
Like the smell of rain that never falls.
Like the sound of a voice that never calls.
Like the morning dew that suddenly appears.
Like a melody that your mind hears.
Memories can be medicine for the soul.
Or warmth from the cold.
Memories never change or grow old.
By Dad, Ray Boulter
