Lazaro Arroyo

A Rosary will be read at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 27th at Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial is at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 28th at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Fr. Emilio Sosa officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Raymond Muñoz, Ralph Muñoz,Joseph Arroyo, David Arroyo, Juan Carlos Arroyo, and Daniel Arroyo.Honorary Pallbearers will be Miguel Angel Arroyo, Randy Muñoz, and Dionicio Tovar.

Lazaro was born July 20, 1938 in Ciudad Acuña, Mexico to Toribio and Margarita Arroyo.

He was preceded in death by his parents, twin brother Jose, and sister Lupe. Survivors include his loving wife Lucy Montgomery; two daughters, Chavela Muñoz and Lidia Arroyo; four sons: Tony Arroyo, Larry Arroyo, Juan Arroyo and Noe Arroyo; daughters-in-law and sons-in-law; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; five sisters: Yolanda Gonzales, Enriqueta Orneles, Maria Sepeda, Tomasa Garcia and Josie Lopez; three Brothers: Hector, Albert and Toribio F. Arroyo, Jr.; sisters-in law and brothers-in-law; and numerous nephews and nieces.

He worked for San Angelo die cast for many years. He enjoyed living out in the country. He loved fishing with his family. He was a loving father, grandfather, husband, and a great person with a big heart.

He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
