She graduated from Buffalo, Texas.
Leta was married to Otis Waymond Faulkner on June 21, 1944.
Leta had a career in retail management for United Dollar Store. She was also a member of the Eastern Stars and Narfe and had a passion for playing dominoes and cards.
Leta is survived by; son Bob Faulkner; and daughter Brenda Richardson; grandchild Keith Faulkner, grandchild Josh Faulkner and grandchild Brian Richardson.
Leta was preceded in death by her husband Otis Waymond Faulkner, her grandsons Greg Faulkner and Chris Richardson and all of her siblings; Henry, Frank, Carl, Elmer, and Calvin, Ethel, and Lillie Mae, her adopted siblings; Clint, Esther, and Herman Maroney.
A visitation for Leta will be held Saturday, April 28, 2018 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Johnson's Funeral Home, 435 W Beauregard Ave, San Angelo, Texas 76903. A graveside will be held Monday, April 30, 2018 at 12:00 PM at Restland Cemetery, 13005 Greenville Ave, Dallas, Texas` 75243.
