Lilia Montemayor Silva, 85, of San Angelo, passed away on Saturday, August 28, 2021. She was born on June 14, 1936 in Muzquiz, Coah. Mexico to Fructuoso and Maria Montemayor. She married Jose P. Silva on May 24, 1964 and had 4 children. Lilia was a proud member of the Guadalupana Society and had a passion for helping out at church and her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will always be remembered for her love of God, family and flowers and plants. She is preceded in death by her husband Jose P. Silva. Those left to cherish Lilia’s memory are her children Dulia Hall and husband Andrew, Susie Varquera and husband Sergio, Jose Hector Silva and wife Maggie and George Silva and wife Stephanie; grandchildren Michael Hall, Matthew Hall, Joshua Varquera, Jourdan Camacho, Macy Silva, Tanner Silva, George Silva, Jr., Celeste Silva and Jacob Jose Silva; great grandchildren Caden Castetter Hall, Colton Castetter Hall, Kallum Hall, Lilliana Varquera, Kane Hall, Josie Hall, Koen Hall and Jonah Camacho; and numerous family and friends. Viewing will begin Wednesday morning with the rosary to be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 1, 2021 in the chapel of Johnson’s Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 2, 2021 at Sacred Heart Cathedral with interment to follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Michael Hall, Matthew Hall, Joshua Varquera, George Silva, Jr., Tanner Silva and Jacob Jose Silva. Honorary Pallbearers will be Caden Castetter Hall, Colton Castetter Hall, Kallum Hall, Kane Hall, Koen Hall and Jonah Camacho.
