I never had the opportunity to meet Mrs. Bird, but knew she was well loved by all who met her. Her granddaughter, Tandi, talked about her often. Mrs. Bird was an awesome person. My thoughts and prayers are with the family in adjusting to their loss.

Dear Bird Family,

I have a "forever" memory of your mom. She treated me like one of her own. She watched over me, and had fun with me, yet allowed me to be my own person. Nothing got by her. I enjoyed my time with your family; she made it special. I know all of you have a vacant spot in your lives at this time, but we will see her in heaven. Thanks for sharing your home and your mom.

Dear Ginger, Missy & Steve,
Your Mom was a very special lady. I know how much she will be missed by you and all of your families. I have very special memories of all of us growning up and attending all the sporting events together. I know there is a big reunion in Heaven. I can see Mom, Dad, Linda & Coach Bird teeing off for a round of golf! Hugs to all of you and know that my thoughts and prayers are with you.

From the very first day we met, Mamaw welcomed me into the Bird family with open arms and a great big smile! She and Missy taught me how to cook, gave advice, shared tears and laughter and never judged anyone. She was outspoken, honest, and well respected. She has always been there for everyone. I love you Mamaw and will cherish the memories of our afternoons watching the thunderstorms roll in - drinking coffee. She and Missy didn't even get mad when I brought Blossom home in the box! Thank you for everything you did for me. You will always be in my heart!
