

Lorraine Traugott, 86 of San Angelo, passed away on Monday, August 31, 2015. She was born August 16, 1929 to Ben and Susie Taylor in Alpine, Texas. She married Leon Webb of Bronte, Texas in 1946. She then married Elmer Traugott in 1982 of San Angelo, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents and husbands Leon and then Elmer.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Janet and Bill Martin of San Angelo; granddaughter Jennifer Self and husband Kent of Lubbock, Texas; great-grandchildren: Tanner Teagarden, Ashley Teagarden, and Emily Teagarden King and husband Tucker; son Joe Traugott and wife Jane of Garland, Texas and their children Brie Garonzik and husband Asher, and Ed Traugott, all of Austin, Texas and daughter Diane Benedict of Maine and her three daughters of New Mexico, Canada, and Maine; Bill, Rebecca, and Tori Jackson of Michigan; Joan and Edward Poehls of Wingate, Texas; and first cousin Kathy Bruce and husband James of Helena, Montana.
Grannie loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren with all of her heart. When she was a child, she spent many hours on her cutting horse, “Penuckle”, riding with her father. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, picnics, and she loved life. Her turkey, dressing, and fried chicken was delicious.

Lorraine’s family would like to extend a very special thank you to Cedar Manor and Park Plaza Nursing Homes, and also to Hospice of San Angelo. All of these facilities and staff made mother’s life easier.
