Lydia Frances (Ripple) Jenness was born on May 22, 1921 in Runnels Co. Her parents, Frank J. and Millie (Saitl) Ripple were farmers. She married Lee Hennecke. He worked for the US Federal Civil Service at Goodfellow Air Force Base then retired and joined Caperton Chevrolet Company in Bronte, Texas.
She married Henry Jenness on April 5, 1974. They together had many businesses including a grocery store, a barber shop, a laundry and a car wash in San Angelo. Whenever they got some free time, they enjoyed fishing and hunting and Lydia enjoying working in her rose garden. Lee preceded her in death as did her son, Ronnie Hennecke, who died on December 17, 1966 then Henry preceded her as well on June 18th, 1989. She herself went home to be with the Lord on January 11, 2019 in Bronte.
Lydia is survived by a daughter, Donnie Hennecke, a grandson, David Petry and two great grandsons, Joshua and Jacob Petry.
Graveside services were Friday, January 18, 2019 at Fairmount Cemetery in San Angelo.
