

Gone but not forgotten, Our Beloved Manuel A. Hernandez went to be with The Lord on Dec. 12, 2014. He was born on April 5, 1936 in San Angelo, Texas to Symone and Jovita Hernandez. Manuel was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He worked for Ethicon, Inc. as a machinist for 38 years. He was an active member of Templo De Alabanza Church. He enjoyed photography and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his late wife Josephina Cajas Hernandez, infant grandson Ramon Nunez, and granddaughter Symone Green. Survivors include his loving wife Josefa Nunez Hernandez, his brother Luis Hernandez and his sister Amelia Reyes, all of San Angelo; his daughters, Judy Hernandez, Norma Hernandez, Amanda Smith, all of San Antonio, Texas; his son Manuel Hernandez of San Angelo. And he was dearly loved by his step-children Ignacio Chappa of Mereta, Texas, Diana and Wally Hernandez, Melissa and Ernest Blanco, Sandra and Steve Rios, Janet Chappa, Erica and Aaron Cordova, all of San Angelo, Valerie Mata of Del Rio, Texas, and Josie and Alejandro Arellano of Rowlett, Texas. He also has numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren that will forever miss and love him. Prayer service is at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday in Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service is at 2:00 p.m. on Monday in Johnson's Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Fairmount Cemetery.
